If you ever wonder how a Slade CD managed to get into the church, then click HERE.

Discovery House is the first book I wrote. A great learning curve it may have been but, like many first works, it's not really fit for public consumption. However, you can read some of it by clicking HERE.

I thought I had lost the electric version of this book, its only existance being a thick folder of A4 paper. But, attempting to fix a friend's computer, I had to boot up a really old computer of mine because the operating system was compatible with my friend's PC. Hidden deep in the folder structure was a corrupted copy of Discovery House. I managed to save 95% of it enabling me to post some of it up. The lesson to be learned from all this is, 'Always save, always back-up'.

All the people who are deemed to have died 'unfairly' are processed and analysed. The very few who are judged to have the greatest potential, those who are most likely to make a contribution to the human race are brought back to life. However, on this occasion and due to an admin error, the wrong five people are brought back to life and subsequently go on the run.

I do like to base scenes in real locations, albeit with a little artistic license of course. This often means visiting places armed with a camera so I can guage layout, atmosphere and scale. Click on the picture to see some of the shots I took from Hibre Island, the centre of The Shimmer at Fog Cottage.
